Big News on David!

June 25, 2007

As I sit hear typing this i look out the window and it is beautiful blue skies but still very cold outside…I love winter days like this.  Woke up this morning and the DVS system said it was 0 in the roof.  Iced up windscreen and top of car but not bad enough to need the hose this morning.

Yesterday we had the new owners come for another look through, their friends are moving literaly just around the corner so will be great for them.

Okay big news on our little David’s front.  He has been walking around furniture for quite some time and over the last couple of months just loves pushing things around.  Well in the last 2 weeks he has been taking steps by himself, we are soo proud…He would walk holding onto our hands about 7-8 weeks ago but only for a few steps…Well, last Wedensday it was 4 steps by himself and nothing for the rest of the day, Thursday 8 steps by himself and now he is walking on and off all through out the day…I am sooo proud of my little man!!!  Way to go David!  Trying to get some good photos to upload and scrap.

My mum is coming up this time next week to stay for 6 days which will be awesome.  We love having my mum around and David just loves playing with her.

I have started going through our wardrobes this morning keeping stuff out that we will def wear in the next 7 weeks, making a pile of stuff to either sell or donate to somewhere and genrally trying to clear as much out of the wardrobes as we can.  I am going to slowly work on things each day.

Well best be off and have Breakfast and then after David has had a play we are going to budle up and go out for a walk before the weather gets bad.  Have a great day everyone.

Sunday 24th June

June 24, 2007

Okay, I know boring title but you get those somtimes.  Well, after 5 offers, our house went un-coditional on Friday night at 4.50pm and this afternoon we signed on the dotted line for our new house which is only 2km away.  While only 2km away it feels like we are in a total different suburb.  It is smaller than we originally wanted but is awesome.  It is 1/3 acre and is 4 bedrooms one of which will be my Scrap Room and there is also an office.  We have def got biggerhouse wise.  There is 147 sq metre of garaging which is what our house and garage are at this house.  The new house size without the garaging is 200 sq metres.  I just can’t wait as we are going to build a desginated crop/scrap area in the garage where I will take crops, have scrapping friends over and take classes eventually.  We are all so excited.  We move from here to the new house on 10th August.  I will post some photos over the next week or 2 when we take them as it has been a private sale and not actually on the market when we found out about it.

What else has been happening.  Yesterday we spent the day at my folks in Katikati.  This morning I put on my Wedding Planner hat as I am organising one of my best friend’s wedding who was one of my bridesmaids.  It is her Wedding 10th November.  I just about gave myself a heart attack the other day as I thought Crafting Connections with Stacey Julian was that weekend but it is the next weekend in Wellington which is awesome.  So November is going to be very, very busy for us.

Next weekend we are off to Hamilton for the day on Saturday to have a Family lunch/Birthday Party for Richard’s nephew Jonathan who will be 8 on 02nd July and then hopefully relaxing on the Sunday.

Well, must be off and check some blogs but will def try and blog again with photos tomorrow.

Wow, it is so so busy at the moment that i find it hard to find time to do anything over the past 2 weeks.  It has quitened down for what i think will be a short while so I will blog when I can.  I think I will take a leaf out of Evana’s book and update in bullet point style.

– Spent awesome weekend with Hannah, Janet (Hannah’s Mum), Alice & Christi at Janet’s house over the weekend scrapping our little hearts out.  Will talk more about this in another post.

– Been cleaning and cleaning and decluttering house to go on market.

– Putting all unwanted stuff for now into storage unit and stuff we won’t use again going to our local school car boot sale this weekend.

– House officially went on the market on Monday.  The 15 agents from our local Harcourts office through the house, sign up and photos taken.  Having inspections by appointment for the next 2 weeks and then open homes.

– Site running with the ad and just a few photos as mostly too dark so they are coming back to take more.

– It is amazing how wonderful a decluttered house feels

– Had first person through looking yesterday, couple tonight and someone on Saturday that I know about.

– Have 3 CJ’s to work on from 2 different CJ groups that I am part of to work on.  Lots of birthdays coming up.

– Currently working on ideas for Baby Pressies as 3 woman from our coffee group are all due with in a week of each other at the end of August and then 2 old work mates due September/October.  Have one of their baby shower’s to go to next month.

– Looked at the house about 3km from here that we have our hearts set on.  4 Bedroom set on 1/3 acre.  Just waiting on valuation to come through.  Yay my own scrappy area and enough seperate room to have crops and take classes….Stay tuned for more possible news on this…Working on something at the moment.

Well, must be off and get some more housework and washing done.  Also have birthday pressies to wrap.  It is my very very good friend’s daughter’s birthday on Friday.  Wow, can’t believe that she will be 12.  Also a scrappy friend’s birthday on Friday as well.  So off to Post Office today to post everything off including things on a wishlist swap over at SE.  Bye for now and while things aren’t manic I will def be blogging more I have missed it.
