Thank you everyone for your wonderful kind thoughts and wishes…I will pass them onto everyone…I have spent the day finishing off some circle journals and Scrapbooking and it is total therapy..I totally agree with one of the women on Wes’s Scrapped Movie.  I am onto my second double page layout today and will continue tomorrow while David is having his naps.  Janine M is coming over to drop off her Ribbon swaps tomorrow afternoon and i will give her one of the circle journals to take with her.

My really great friend Donna who I met on the Treasures forum and who is like a life time best friend now texted me this afternoon to say that her 11 year old daughter Ash while at Donna’s exs for the weekend fell from her Bunk and has broken her arm and is at the Hospital.  Turns out that she has broken both bones below her elbow as when she fell she put out her arm to stop herself and the arm then bent back.  She has had to have surgery to put 2 titanium rods down her arm.  She was in surgery for just under 3 hours and it was worse than they thought and they had to cut down the length of her arm.  As Ash was going into surgery she told donna that she was hungry and wanted baking.  Donna translated that to mean she wanted my baking which normally for Ash is my double chocolate chip cookies.  So Richard and I put on the oven about 4.30 and made her 2 dozen cookies for her to eat when she can, to share with others there and to take home.  We went up and got a few things for Donna on the way and sat with her at the hospital for awhile.  She will be there overnight until the Dr sees her in the morning.  Luckly there is bed that donna can sleep in overnight.  I have told Donna if she is going to be there longer to come over for breakfast/brunch or what ever and have a shower etc as they live up north of Orewa which would take her in normal traffic 50-60 mins each way…  She is a tough 11 year old with a heart of gold and I know she will bounce back well.

I have my 2nd appt with Nikki Hart on Thursday afternoon so that will be interesting and i also need to get my blood tested again for iron next week sometime.

I am finding writing on my blog very theroputic so i will appologise in advance if I ramble on a bit over the next few days.

It’s been a very

hard week since we arrived back from Wellington.  On our last Morning in Wellington I received a telephone call from a great friend of mine from the Treasures Forum to say that the 6 month old Prem daughter of a friend of ours had passed away the night before…This darling little girl was born at 26 weeks and it has been a very hard past 6 months for her and her family but she was doing so well and in the last month or so started having breathing problems again. The last few days donna and I have been arranging things as gifts for the family and I am compiling a scrapbook of everyone from the forum’s thoughts and comments.  Yesterday was spent baking for the wake after the funeral.  That afternoon we all headed to the funeral wearing baby pink with pink balloons and flowers…still finding it very hard. To top that off 2 weeks ago our neighbour and very good friend who was actually coming to and doing the flowers for our wedding had  a car accident when 1 of 2 anurisims popped in her head that they didn’t know anything about.  After having an operation to block them off and a ct scan no brain injury was found…But yesterday morning our neigbour came over and i will never forget the look in his eyes as he stood there, i just knew without him saying anything.  He confirmed that she had passed away on thursday evening…. This is such a cruel, cruel world….I haven’t really blogged much in the last 2 weeks and it has been since this accident that blogging just wasn’t in me but I felt that I just had to get this down and share it… Thank you everyone for listening to me ramble on…I knew you all wouldn’t mind!

I am back!!!

October 24, 2006

Sorry everyone I am back and I haven’t falled off the face of the earth….Have just about an hour ago just got home after being stuck in Wellington an extra night becuase of the weather….

I will update my blog latter this afternoon once we have done the washing, settled down and got the grocery shopping all done…

but David’s cold got worse and turned into Broncolitis but is slowing getting better and with having low iron i have managed to get it off him along with a sore throat and ear ache…argh and I have heaps of Scrapping Projects due.  Also our Mariage Celbrant had to cancel on us last week.  Long Story but hopefully we have found another one thanks to Nic Howard – Thanks Nic you Rock…We just have to confirm this week…But it is a lovely lady in Pukekohe who has done heaps of Weddings at Castaways.

We have also had Richard’s 7 year old nephew up from Hamilton for 5 days and Richard and David drove down to take him home today.  Had heaps of fun with him…Thursday we all went out for my birthday for breakfast out at Botany and did some shopping…that afternoon Jonathan had our 5 year old neigbour come over to play, eat pizza and watch videos, Friday we went to Chipmunks at Pakurunga with our neigbour and a couple of her son’s friends.  Yesterday Richard and Jonathan spent the morning at Treasure Island playing Mini golf and then we all went out for the afternoon.  We went to Harvey Norman’s to get the digi photos that we had taken of Jonathan’s trip with us and they permantly have their 6 x 4 photos for 29c each….I think we will go with these now as the ones I got from Digimax were and are still sticky…I ended up getting some of the photos done with white boarders on them for the same price and they look great.

Other news David is getting alot better at sitting up by himself at the moment…

Well, must be off and try and get some more relaxing in before the forthcoming week…But before I go, thank you Ruth for emailing to see if I was okay…Sorry for not replying yet but have been so busy and not feeling well at all…
